Cape Neddick | Ogunquit, ME
New Practice Area Awaits Cape Neddick Golfers
Situated on scenic Shore Road between York and Ogunquit, just an hour north of Boston, Cape Neddick Country Club sits in the perfect spot for vacationing guests as well as locals who don't have to travel too far off the path for a greatround of golf.
This original Donald Ross design was an 18-hole course from its construction until the mid 1940's when the back nine was closed. It remained the 9-hole 'Cliff Country Club' until Brian Silva's 1998 redesign was opened and returned the course to a full 18 in the classic Donald Ross style that incorporates the best of the old and the new. Th e Club has a true New England feel, with outcroppings ofledge and plenty of wind to remind the player of the proximity to Maine's rocky
coast. If possible, make the trip during fall foliage season to take advantage of discounted rates, excellent conditions and picturesque setting.
Cape Neddick Country Club can be enjoyed by all players, off ering a good test of golf from four separate tees. A recently renovated practice facility now off ers players two putting greens, a practice bunker and a two-tiered driving range with plenty of space for instruction and the Club's summer golf school.
