Cranston Country Club is an 18 hole championship course laid out over 170 acres of rolling terrain. The course was designed by Geofrey Cornish and opened 18 hole play in 1974.

Cranston Country Club offers wide landing areas and large greens that make for a great day for all skill levels. The signature hole # 8 is a true island green with yardages ranging from 100 yards to 160 yards form the tips. It is a conversation piece for all after your round.

The front 9 is relatively flat with wide fairways and challenging par 3’s. The front features 3 water holes with ponds on #5 and #6.

The back 9 offers more elevation changes and a couple of blind approach shots. You will encounter more challenging tee shots and a more demanding premium on approach shots to elevated greens on #10, #11, #17, and #18.

Playing to 6914 yards from the Championship tees and a slope of 130, the course requires both power and sound course management to go low on this course. Golfers looking for a good test without the stress of a 7,000 yard challenge can play from the blue tees at 6,493 yards, slope 125, or the white tees at 6,109, slope 122.

The golf course is meticulously maintained and has a reputation for its conditions from tee to green.

Cranston Country Club has a great practice facility offering golfers the opportunity to practice on a natural grass tee. The range is perfect for golfers looking to warm up before a round or the player looking to improve his game without hitting off of mats.

The club hosted the 2009 U.S. Amateur qualifier and was a stop for the Cleveland Golf Tour from 2003-2005.
