At Hampden Country Club, dramatic elevation changes produce a challenging golf course with spectacular vistas. Seven holes wander along the base of Goat Hill with gorgeous sunsets and views to the west. The other 11 holes meander through open meadows crossing brooks and ponds to create an interesting variety of approaches. The views, the natural wetlands, and the landscape offer a wonderful setting for a championship golf course. Players of all skill levels will enjoy this course and it is always open to the public.

At 6833 yards from the back tees, the slope is a daunting 134 for this par 72 design. Move up to the middle tees at 6349 though, and you’ll have a 129 slope and perhaps a better chance to get home on the longer holes.

This is a moderately hilly layout, but walkable, and the various water hazards dictate the line of play and the degree of bravado or discretion you apply hole by hole. (We suggest discretion.)

It’s a most enjoyable course, noted for fine conditions and a friendly welcoming staff that has obvious pride in its course.

For outings, banquets, business meetings, and weddings, Hampden provides an elegant yet relaxed setting. The club features panoramic views unmatched by any other banquet hall in the area.

The clubhouse has every service you need and expect from a first class private country club.

Menus for all events are prepared by the club’s own chef and experienced staff. You can also create the menu that works for you and your event, and the staff at Hampden will make sure that your banquet is a wonderful success.

The ballroom (seating up to 300) has two separate bars, a parquet dance floor, ample space, and wondrous views. Whether your event is a wedding or a corporate outing, the setting is ideal.
