Meadow Creek Golf Club | Dracut, MA
Take the Strategic Approach.
Strategy can be defined as a systematic plan of action. At Meadow Creek, a new 18-hole, 6501 yard championship golf course in Dracut, MA, bring all your strategy and get ready to have a fun and challenging round of golf. With views of Boston to the south and rolling hills throughout the golf course, spending a day at Meadow Creek will be unique, picturesque, and enjoyable.
With four tee boxes for every player level, and large, receptive greens, golfers of all abilities can experience the full pleasure of golfing at this gem.
Each hole is a new experience. Jeffrey Brem, a new course designer, utilized all the varied terrain that nature provided to present every hole as a unique challenge. The variety is wonderful and the routing is entertaining to those who appreciate such nuances. The course sits comfortably on the shoulders of the land, as Brem was careful to avoid any forced-looking holes. The tempo and flow seem completely natural.
The front nine holes are fairly open, as they sweep down and back through meadows. Gently swaying grasses define some fairways while others are lined with old farming stone walls bringing forth a historic New England charm.
Generally you’ll get to hit driver on the wide front 9. But the course switches gears on the back, with tighter fairways, and a greater variation in elevation. Part of the benefit of that, however, are the spectacular views.
You’ll find water hazards, too, on both the front and the back, but not if you use your strategic playing mind.
While Meadow Creek requires a few carries, none is unreasonable, and it’s clear that the course is well thought out for those who prefer to concentrate on direction over distance.
Meadow Creek opened for full play in 2007. Better hustle out there and get in your first round before the word really gets out. No doubt, you will enjoy golfing here.
