Stonebridge Country Club |  Goffstown, NH

Now Better than Ever.

Stonebridge Country Club, an award-winning course 10 minutes from Manchester and one of the most picturesque courses in New Hampshire, was acquired in 2008 by local owners who have invested $1M in upgrades to the facility. Newly paved paths, electric carts, new bridges, and extensive drainage allow the course to be playable all season, and the clubhouse has been completely renovated. Opened in 1997 on a scenic hilltop with commanding views of the countryside, Stonebridge is home to the #1 golf hole in New Hampshire according to WMUR television — the breathtaking par 3 sixth, visible from the driveway. Stonebridge was rated "8th Best New Hampshire Golf Course" by Golf Digest, which gives it a 4-Stars.

Don't let the beautiful surroundings fool you — this enjoyable course is also challenging. Th e Wogan design measures 6,808 yards, rated 73.3 with a slope of 138. Many holes are tight and hilly, the greens fast and undulating, with water and bunkers awaiting errant shots. Four diff erent tees ensure the course is enjoyable for the beginner to the low handicapper.

The fi rst 5 holes are open and forgiving. Six is the signature hole that reminds many of Augusta's twelfth. It's all carry over a stone-lined pond, near the namesake stone bridge. Th e front concludes with 3 picturesque dogleg par 4's that meander back and forth across a creek.

The challenges continue at the tenth — a risk/reward par 5. Eleven and twelve are hilly par 4's with tricky greens. Th irteen is a treacherous par 3 through deep woods, and fourteen is the #1 handicap hole. It's an intimidating 560 yards from the back, with a tight downhill drive and no place to miss. Put your ego and your driver away to escape with a respectable score. Precise tee shots are required to successfully navigate fi fteen and sixteen, and seventeen is a narrow par 5 which feels even longer due to its uphill slope across all 551 yards. Eighteen is a great fi nishing hole, with a precision second that must navigate two ponds, a bunker and the hill behind its undulating green.

After your round, Stonebridge off ers a full-service restaurant and bar, featuring fi reside or outdoor dining. Linger long enough to enjoy the spectacular views and sunsets from the spacious clubhouse deck.
