In 2008 three golf fanatics decided to bring Par 3 Golf back to Lakeville, MA. The famous Geoffrey Cornish layout was kept intact but many practical and aesthetic changes were made and on May 23rd, 2008 the new Back Nine Club opened its doors. The new course was made better than ever, including paved cart paths and additional tees to accommodate all levels of golfers. The Back Nine Club offers a unique golfing experience. With three sets of tees, The Back Nine Club offers something for every skill level. With idyllic ponds often coming into play and big inviting greens surrounded by sandtraps, picking the right set of tees is the first challenge.

This executive style course certified as “Beginner Friendly” has pristine bent grass greens and lush fairways and tees. The average round takes 3 to 3½ hours, which leaves time for life’s other commitments. A new, larger full service clubhouse has been built and inside, the kitchen, dining area and function facility have been fully upgraded and rebuilt to better serve the customers’ needs. This transformation has resulted in an even more family-friendly environment and has allowed the club to expand its services for outings, parties and functions.

The Back Nine Club is committed to giving every single person who walks on the property a memorable golfing and/or dining experience. In 2016, Bob Guisti, former Head Pro at The Country Club of Halifax has taken over the reins. Bob was the 2015 Cape Cod Professional of the year and the recipient of the 2015 New England Patriot Award. Give him a call for information on memberships, outings or functions.
